Critical Care Systems was founded in 1991 in Nashua, NH, and successfully opened community-based branch pharmacies across the country (see branch map for specific locations). Each multidisciplinary branch team works to meet the needs of their customers on a local level.
The company employs more than 1,200 professionals, including over 800 clinicians skilled in the provision of specialty pharmacy services and home infusion therapies.
In 2007, Critical Care Systems was acquired by Accredo Health Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. Critical Care Systems operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Accredo Health Group, Inc.. With support from Medco and Accredo, Critical Care Systems is focused on becoming a premier home infusion provider in the industry.
